MANAGEMENT
Our unique producer compensation program insures agency profitability as well as efficient and effective use of our carriers' time and their assets.
In most brokerage firms, producers are compensated as a percentage of their gross income - usually 25-50%. Agents often times gravitate towards an agency with a large
commission split, i.e. 50%. This way, they can maximize income on their book of business.
However, each agent is very different and the costs to run a producer vary dramatically. Paying an agent 50%
of their gross income, and then finding out it costs the firm 70% to run the individual is a script for failure
pending many brokerage firms today.
Our system is simple and breeds efficiencies and profits for everyone.
We deduct 15% of the agents' gross for our guaranteed profit, name
utilization, and carrier relationships. The remaining belongs to
the producer, less expenses, i.e. rent, phone, fax, errors & omissions
insurance, staff, etc.
If the individual is effective as a producer, he can maximize his income with the firm at 60-65%. On the other
hand, if he wastes a lot of the firm's resources and our carriers' valuable assets, quoting and not placing
coverage, then he has to pay his share of the overhead. Bottom line, it is "automatic management" that our
carriers enjoy and guarantees a profitable relationship for M. G. Boost & Associates.
